Drake VS Lil Wayne Tour Trailer

drake-vs-lil-wayne-tourDrake and Lil Wayne are getting ready to hit the road next week to begin their 31-city tour, “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne”. There has been a video released for the upcoming ‘battle’ as Sage (Lil Wayne) versus the Protege (Drake). Say what you want about their music, BUT this show is sure to be one for the books. To have two rappers of the caliber of Drake and Lil Wayne on stage,at the same time, going song for song, is going to be a sight to see. Check out the clip below:

Keyshia Cole, ‘Point of No Return’, Tour

keyshia-next-timeKeyshia_Cole_Rick_James_Juicy_jAfter releasing two singles, ‘Rick James‘ and ‘Next Time‘, Keyshia Cole is hitting the road this summer for a mini tour. Her upcoming album, Point of No Return has no official release date just yet, but it’s clear to see that this tour is all promo based off the timing and venues. The month and a half tour kicks off in Rochester, NY (July 12th) and finishes up in San Diego, CA (August 25th). Check out the dates below (via Rap-Up):

July 12 – Blue Cross Arena – Rochester, NY
July 18 – Century Link Center – Bossier City, LA
July 22 – Saint Andrews Hall – Detroit, MI
July 24 – House of Blues Chicago – Chicago, IL
July 26 – Paul Brown Stadium – Cincinnati, OH

Aug. 22 – The Wiltern – Los Angeles, CA
Aug. 23 – The Fillmore – San Francisco, CA
Aug. 25 – House of Blues San Diego – San Diego, CA

Regardless of the current state of her career there are a lot of Keyshia Cole fans still out there. From the direction of the two tracks she’s released thus far, I’d say scratch that and start from square one. With the album being due in the summer that’s probably not an option. Breakups can make for GREAT music, I mean look at Keyshia’s track record. In this case though, I haven’t been interested in anything. Nothing is radio worthy and I am unsure of how much it’ll really sell. Album sales are everything, but radio play at least keeps you relevant.

Drake VS Lil Wayne

drake2Drake and Lil Wayne have announced that they will be at war with each other come _ as they prepare for their joint tour titled, Drake VS Lil Wayne. Let me just FIRST say that I absolutely love the title. Might seem simple, but these two on tour is going to be amazing.

The tour will hit 31 cities (so far) starting in New York (Darien Center) August 8th and finishing in Texas (The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Foundation) on September 27th. For those in the tri-state area I would personally recommend the PNC Banks Arts Centre (Holmdell, NJ) show on August 26th. No these venues are not Met Life, Barclay, Staples, or any of that. I’m still interested in this tour. Tickets go on sale NEXT FRIDAY (6.20) on LiveNation.

It has been reported that Jay-Z and Beyoncé will be touring starting in June and stopping in NYC on July 4th. The entire tour is expected to stop in 20 cities in the U.S.

Eminem x Rihanna Announce, “The Monster Tour”, Dates

Untitled

I announced a while back that Eminem and Rihanna would be going on a ‘tour’ together. I mean yes they are  hitting the road to do a show together titled after their hit song, The Monster, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it a tour. The tour spans for 3 weeks and hits Cali, Detroit, and Jersey. Check out the dates and locations below:

August 7th – Los Angeles, Rose Bowl

August 16th – East Rutherford (NJ), Met Life Stadium

August 22nd – Detroit (MI), Comerica Park

As I stated, it’s not much of a ‘tour’ more of a road trip. Who knows if they’ll add more dates, but for those that get tickets I’m sure it will be one hell of a show. Ticket presale begins March 20th. Click here for all pre-sale info. Keep up with all the updates on this tour on Eminem.com.
