HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!! Today is a really gloomy day in the tri-state so my outfit matched the weather outside. I still love the beauty of snow. I don’t have major plans for today so I spent it hanging out with my sisters. My outfit is super simple and features items I have hauled here on the blog before. Outfit details under the pic. Plus check out my V-Day Playlist below with a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
Living in the tri-state is a good and bad thing when it comes to the winter. I have more boots than any other shoe in my wardrobe and layering can be fun an stylish. The bad thing is the snow and the commute, people not knowing how to drive in such weather. Enough rambling. Above are my winter essentials that I love to rock in this extremely cold season. It’s clear that I love wearing black, I also love wearing anything oversized and the leggings pictured are specifically for layering under either sweats or jeans. All of the items shown above are items that I use time and time again during the season and some that I want to incorporate more. Pops of color with my accessories allows me to continue to wear all black. As for jewelry I wear hoops if I’m going somewhere, but on a day to day it’s usually just a beanie and my glasses.

I LOVE the fall because I love layering. Here’s a look I love with two staples in my wardrobe: black high-waisted jeans and polk a dot button-up.
For this look I kept it simple with two of my favorites as mentioned. I have been wearing my black high-waisted jeans like crazy. I didn’t want to wear all black like I’ve been wearing so I threw on my J. Crew button up. As for shoes I wanted to wear something new so I cuffed my jeans at the bottom and put on my new ShoeDazzle shoes that I absolutely love. Sidebar-Expect a review on those shoes in a future Fashion Forward Friday. As for my coat it’s a coat that I got for a great deal at Kohls. It’s about 2 seasons old, but it’s one of my favorite coats. Hence the title of this OOTD, ‘Fancy Coat’. To neutralize the look I decided to wear my Sammy Dress handbag along with Revlon’s Lip Butter in “Fig Jam’ (my absolute favorite lipstick).
Enough rambling. Thanks for reading. Be sure to click the links in the pic below to go directly to the pieces or something similar. Until next time…
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE! It’s been a while, well it seems like a while since I’ve posted anything beauty/fashion related, but more of those related posts are to come in the next few weeks. I put together a quick outfit as I headed out to run a few errands. No jewelry because the pants are the focal point and accessory of the look. Hope you enjoy. To see my other OOTD posts, click here. I had been hearing mixed reviews on Sammy Dress all over YouTube and after watching numerous Sammy Dress hauls from on of my favs, RavenEylse, I decided to go browse the site and see if there was anything I wanted to buy. First off I was looking to see if I could score any shoes being how inexpensive they were, BUT there were none in a size 10 and I was not about to take a chance and buy something a size too small so I was bummed about that. I did end up finding two things that caught my eye. Quick disclaimer: I do not own any of the rights to the pictures from SammyDress.Com. Only pictures with MMF2014 are my own.
