Sound Off: NFL Boycott?

It feels like forever since I’ve written a blog post,¬† but truly it’s been over a week. I hope everyone had an amazing Summer. Football is officially back and of course I’m all about that black and yellow #SteelerNation. Who will make it to the Super Bowl? Will anyone have an undefeated season? Aside from those basic questions every season, there’s been a lot of conversation surrounding boycotting the NFL. I for one will not be participating in that.

Sound Off: Inauguration

January 20, 2017, Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. I repeat, Donald Trump has been sworn in as President of the United States. He is officially President Trump. Obama is officially gone. A new era, however that era may be, is about to begin.

Sound Off: Farewell President Obama

I was 17 years old the day that Barack Obama was elected President of the United States. Never in a million years did anyone think Obama, a black man, would become president. At this point in my life I had only lived through 3 presidents. When I was born, George H. W. Bush was President followed by Bill Clinton. I was in the 5th grade on 9/11 and George W. Bush was president. I also remember the controversy surrounding his elections. I was becoming more aware of politics then, or so I thought.
