Episode 4: Low Income Budget Series – February Budget + January Fail

One of my goals for January was to consistently create content for Chaotic Critic and I am so proud that I have ben able to do so. One of my favorite series that I’ve created here on the blog this year is my Low Income Budget series. I’ve been bringing you all along on my journey to financial freedom. It’s easy to write down my bills, but it’s skill and discipline to not only pay but to keep expenses at a minimum. Let’s not even get to savings.

This post is all about my February budget and what I failed at in January.

Episode 3: Low Budget Income Series – January Check In

Welcome to episode 3 of my low Budget Income series. For new readers, this series I’ve created is documenting my financial journey all 2019. Episode 1 looked at my January budget and why I’ve decided to take control of my finances and episode 2 was a close look at my 2018 expenses. To keep up with the entire series, click here. Here we are halfway through January so what better time than now to see how things are going and what needs to be adjusted.

Disclaimer: I am not a financial expert or accountant. I am on the road to financial freedom like many others and decided to document my journey.

Episode 2: Low Budget Income Series – 2018 Expenses

Welcome to episode 2 of my low Budget Income series. This edition will be a closer look at my 2018 expenses. That’s right, all the details (well as much as possible). This episode is important to see just where the hell my money went in the first place. So, taking a stroll back through all my statements (January to December) to what was spent on my debit, nor just bills, I’ve been able to come to a decisive conclusion.

Episode 1: Low Budget Income Series – Why Budget Now + January Budget

Welcome to a new series here on Chaotic Critic. This time is a little different, we’re focusing on finances. My finances to be precise. This is an area in the planner community that is growing with the likes of Shay Budgets and E. Michelle, but as a whole, financial freedom is usually on the back burner. I decided to title this series a Low Budget Income Series as that is exactly what my income is. Hopefully you’ll stick around for the ride. Buckle up!
