Holy Grail Hair Products

I haven’t shared any monthly, quarterly, or favorites in quite some time. Life has been crazy and hectic, but in a good way and I’ve had to make changes. The key change was finding a hairstyle that took little maintenance. My go to hair style for years has been braids. They’re easy, I do them myself, and switch it up when I want. So why not share my holy grail hair products, right? Right.

Chaotic Reads | Audible Favorites

I have always been fond of reading, but as I’ve gotten older I have strayed away from actual books. I love the collection that I have that spans from my Harry Potter series to various motivational books and biographies/memoirs. I have found audiobooks very helpful. I listen to them throughout my work day and commute.

What I’m Loving in 2017 | April – June

We are entering the second half of 2017. It’s crazy how fast the year has gone by and it’s that time again for my collective favorites. It’s easier to share what I’m loving over a span of a few months versus one month. Sometimes, nothing new is on my radar for a particular month which leaves nothing to share. This ‘What I’m Loving’ series features my quarterly favorites.

Memory Planning in My Happy Planner

I have a bin full of memories that I’ve accumulated over the years. Some I have from important events in my life such as prom, High School graduation, and my college graduation. I love to save cards, tickets, pictures, and other odds and ends. As I am purging my oversized memory box, my goal is to consolidate what I plan on keeping into one central location. I could create a scrapbook, but I wanted something more flexible which is why I decided to go with the Me & My Big Ideas BIG Happy Planner.

Traveler’s Notebook Flip Through

Welcome to another post here on the blog. I’m on a roll with posts again, thankfully. In this post I’m sharing a flip through of my traveler’s notebook.  I love that with the traveler’s notebook you can have all you want in one central location. While I’m using this specifically for journaling, it’s a great planner option with plenty of space to track other areas in your life. This flip through includes my traveler’s notebook from cover to cover including my inserts, dashboards, pockets, and all the repurposed items I’ve used.

What I’m Loving So Far in 2017!

DIY War Binder

What exactly is  war binder? Well, it stems from the movie War Room (2015) and in that movie the main character would post. So in essence, a war binder is a portable war room that holds your reflections on scriptures, prayers, sermons, etc. You can really make it your won.

In this war binder series, I wanted to share different alternatives to a war binder aside from the traditional 3-ring binder or traveler’s notebook. These options are affordable with minimal design, but serve the same purpose without anything really fancy. The first option features a $1 photo album I purchased at Dollar Tree. I decided to look into affordable options as I saw people in the War Binder Facebook group looking for alternatives, especially based on location.
