Dashboards for Any Planner

Cheers to the weekend and another post on the blog. I am no stranger to sharing my planner obsession. I am a strong believer in writing things down and most importantly, getting them done. I use stickers, colorful pens, etc. to draw attention to certain moments of a day. Of course, that’s not needed. I will say that the more decorative my planner is the more I use it. This post is all about making inexpensive dashboards for your planner with materials you may already have.

DIY Card For Any Occasion

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, grandmas, aunts, god mothers, mother figures, etc. Today I celebrate my number one lady, my grandma. My mother passed away nearly 9 years ago, the day before my 17th birthday, my senior year of high school. My grandmother stepped in to the role of both mom and grandma which I can never  thank her enough for.  While I could buy her this and that, at 85 years old, what she enjoys most are heartfelt gifts. So what did I make? I decided to create an interactive card and the outcome, #AMAZING!

Traveler’s Notebook Flip Through

Welcome to another post here on the blog. I’m on a roll with posts again, thankfully. In this post I’m sharing a flip through of my traveler’s notebook.  I love that with the traveler’s notebook you can have all you want in one central location. While I’m using this specifically for journaling, it’s a great planner option with plenty of space to track other areas in your life. This flip through includes my traveler’s notebook from cover to cover including my inserts, dashboards, pockets, and all the repurposed items I’ve used.

DIY War Binder

What exactly is  war binder? Well, it stems from the movie War Room (2015) and in that movie the main character would post. So in essence, a war binder is a portable war room that holds your reflections on scriptures, prayers, sermons, etc. You can really make it your won.

In this war binder series, I wanted to share different alternatives to a war binder aside from the traditional 3-ring binder or traveler’s notebook. These options are affordable with minimal design, but serve the same purpose without anything really fancy. The first option features a $1 photo album I purchased at Dollar Tree. I decided to look into affordable options as I saw people in the War Binder Facebook group looking for alternatives, especially based on location.
