What is Cultivate What Matters?
Cultivate What Matters was created 5 years ago by Lara Casey as her solution to a failed traditional goal setting system. The PowerSheets 3-Step Proven process includes: powersheets prep, action plans, and monthly tending pages. This intentional goal planner focuses on goals you have in different areas of your life and provides you with tools to tackle them instead of the standard way of just writing them down.
The Cultivate What Matters PowerSheets Intentional Goal Planner
- Hard covers with gold corner protectors
- Gold coil binding

- Measures 8.5 x 10 inches
- 120 gsm paper

There is a lot to take in with this layout, but each page is easy to understand. Take each prep page step by step. Don’t feel you have to complete it all in one sitting. Take your time.
Exclusive Bonus Add Ons
One of my favorite features about this planner is that there are resources that you can use to make the most out of the productivity tool you purchased. While it does have a hefty price tag of $44, the exclusive add ons you receive are well worth it.

Pros and Cons
As excited as I am to use this planner, I’m hesitant to start. The prep pages alone are overwhelming. My current system for keeping up with my goals is nonexistent, so I really want to give this system a try and I will. I may forgo the prep pages right now, but still, I need to reevaluate the goals I set at the end of December as I am entering a new quarter of the year.
Planning in general is a lot of trial and error, especially when you try and find systems that work for you. I want to accomplish my goals and not just write them down. Although one of the cons I have is the system begin overwhelming at first glance, the pro is that it’s thoroughly explained. Each page has a guide to walk you through it. It’s just a mater of sitting down, taking the time to write out what you want to accomplish, and get to work.
Goal setting can be very daunting. It’s challenging to get motivated and scary to start. I love that this planner is specifically for goals. Due to that reason, I do agree with other opinions on this being more of a workbook than a planner.
