We are just about halfway through Blogmas (Day 12 to be exact) and I appreciate every single one of you that has kept up with daily posts and even left comments along the way. I’ll continuously thank you all. Anytime someone reads what I write, I still get excited like a little kid. Alright, enough sappy stuff, let’s get into today’s blog post. I’m sharing all my music favs of 2017. Let’s get into it.

Although I am not into music like I used to be, if you search back enough here on the blog you’ll find a substantial amount of song, album, and video reviews. It was just my thing. Now, if I catch a song that I like, I become overly obsessed and play it on rotation until I can’t stand it anymore. Than a few months will go by and I’ll get excited hearing it again.
From the list above, if I had to narrow down the list to a top 3, that would be kind of hard. The music that I’ve enjoyed this year has been in phases. ‘Bodak Yellow’ has been on my radar since I first heard it and I just love Cardi’s personality. Then there’s ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ which I heard around Valentine’s Day and listened to it a few times a day up until almost April. Same with ‘All Time Low.’ Right now I’m really loving Dua Lipa’s, ‘New Rules’ and N.E.R.D’s ‘Lemon’ featuring Rihanna. Sometimes I want something fast other times a slow jam works like Ed Sheeran’s ‘Perfect.’ I prefer the original version instead of the Queen Bey duet.
I will say that I am not into music like I used to be. I can tell you what’s on the radio as I commute a lot, but it’s not my life anymore. I used to research music as I was into music journalism. I was on top of all the latest music news that when I stopped writing about it, I was able to enjoy it versus listen to it just to turn around and write about it. I enjoy listening to songs and sharing a playlist here on the blog, but other than that, that’s it.
