Plan With Me | Christmas Week 2016

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve… Tomorrow is Christmas Eve… SUNDAY IS CHRISTSMAS!

Why hello there and welcome to another post here on the blog. Merry Christmas to those that celebrate it and HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!

It just wouldn’t be right if I didn’t share my Christmas spread in my Happy Planner and just because I can’t get enough of CHRISTMAS I’ll be sharing another spread on Christmas Day in my Plum Paper planner. Last year, I had a full out Christmas kit that I had purchased from FabulouslyPlanned. This year, while I didn’t have a kit to work with, I did have a sheet of full boxes from OhHelloStationeryCo. The full boxes were super cute and I’ve been saving them for my Christmas week. I found super cute stickers from Michaels for 60 cents each (4 sheets to 1 pack, regular $2), so I snagged those. Combining the two really pulled the spread together.

This is my LAST WEEK planning in this planner. There’s one more week left in it, but I’m moving into my new Happy Planner. I’ve been using this one (Good Things Are Going to Happen edition) for over 18 months (extension pack beginning May 2015).

To start off this spread, I’ve been planning backwards in my Happy Planner. I placed the full boxes on the weekend and use this burlap washi that I had as it matched the rustic style of the Michaels stickers I would be using plus not too ‘Christmasy’ to not blend with the full boxes. It worked out great.

I absolutely love the burlap washi. When I was planning I should have just went all the way across with the washi instead of just focusing on the weekend. But, for a more continuous look, I had to do the washi all the way across and I’m glad it worked out.

For my headers I use the Michaels stickers I scored on clearance. The headers, and all other icons throughout this spread are from two different sticker packs. My sidebar was left pretty bare. I ended up going back and filling in some of my favorite Christmas songs that I’ve had on rotation. I swear I have a Christmas playlist EVERYWHERE.

Take note that a lot of Christmas kits on Etsy are on clearance, so they may not last long in the shops. You can buy them now and save them for next year. Below are kits that are winter/’Christmasy’ themed, but can still be used throughout January.
