A Few of My Favorite Things

Welcome to another post here on the blog. No this isn’t planner related. No this isn’t anything motivational either. I wanted to share my current favorites with you all from items that I’ve been wearing more frequently plus some new additions.

fav-things

I’ve been loving graphic tees and they can really dress any outfit up or down. It’s football season so of course I had to get another Steelers tee. I found one at Old Navy and the shirt is amazing. The cotton is so soft while most other tees are pretty stiff. The only other shirt I have like it is my Maroon 5 tee from their concert last year. I’ve also added a wrestling tee to my collection. I really want more vintage ones, but when I went to Hot Topic (or maybe it was Spencers) I chose the Seth Rollins one. I also scored a tee from Five Below. It says ‘Good Vibes’ and for $3 (regular $5), why not.

To add more Steelers gear to my collection, since my vacay finds weren’t enough, my bestie bought me a Steelers baseball jersey as a belated birthday gift. When she buys something I get on two and vice versa. What are the odds of my bestie and I being fans of the same football team. It wasn’t planned that’s for sure. Anywho, the jersey is from Forever 21 and while I’m iffy about their sizing, the Large fits great with plenty of room. Still a piece I could dress up or down.

In dressing that jersey up, I would add on my Juicy Couture thigh high boots that I found from Kohl’s. I have never found a pair of thigh highs that actually fit me thigh high. There’s a zipper in the back from the heel all the way up. They fit true to size (I’m a size 10) and they’re super comfortable. I’m so happy to have found them.

I also scored a long white vest from Kohl’s. It was a regular $60, but I got it for $20ish. While I prefer anything oversized with sleeves, simply because it’s more cozy, the vest is so chic and fits me great. Plus, I have nothing like it in my closet.

On the thrifted side of life, my grandmother gave me this Jones New York navy and cream striped top. Yeah, it’s cream-ish. Let’s go with that. It has slits on either side, plus pockets. I love the loose relaxed look of it. Tops like that I prefer to tuck in. This isn’t that kind of top, but with a fitted pair of jeans or slacks it looks great. I personally would never buy from that brand, but if something fits you right, rock it!
