Hobby Lobby Haul

Welcome to another post here on the blog. In this one I’m sharing a Hobby Lobby Haul (hence the title). I was off today and I saw that their Paper Studio line was 50% off. I mean, did I really need more stickers? Not really, but a sale is a sale, right?

As always be sure to click the links throughout this post for related posts and links to purchase items/similar styles featured.

I went to Hobby Lobby for the sale to get the tubes of washi they had. I saw CoupontoProvide haul one with a beautiful floral and wood grain, which I loved, so I was happy to find it.   The Hobby Lobby in my area doesn’t have the greatest selection. As for pricing you can get the two packs , the thick washi rolls, or the thin pack of 4-5 rolls for $3.99 to $4.99. This tube was $6.49, regular $12.99.

Planner Tip: Unsure what to do with thick washi? Use it in your bottom bar or to cover up the dates at the top.

Next up are the recipe box and cards. I have been wanting to try new recipes whether I see them on TV, in a magazine, or online. Unfortunately, while I want to try it, I never save it. I wanted to buy the Happy Planner recipe book, but I wasn’t completely in love with it. It’s $29.99 and even with a 40% off coupon (50% at Michaels if you’re lucky), it still wasn’t worth it. I decided to just go with the box and cards since it’s more compact. The recipe box was $2.99, regular $5.99, and the recipe cards were $1 each, regular $1.99 each.

I had never paid attention to these bottle cap stickers before, but I loved the look of them so for the 50% off I had to get them. They had two other packages there, one vintage and the other seasonal. These wold be great to layer with a  full box to cover the calendar in the sidebar of each week. You could also use them to fill in empty spaces on certain days. I can’t wait to use these in my ‘This Month Currently’ as well. These would be great if you’re into traveller’s notebooks. I used a Steelers die cut bottle caps from Etsy to create a schedule in mine. Turned out pretty good. This pack contained 8 sheets for $2.99, regular $5.99

I love buying the Paper Studio stickers that are regularly $1.99. It’s best to get these on sale. For 2 sheets you can get them for $1. I chose the metallic ones, which I had seen xoMamaPlans use before. I can never have enough footballs or eyeglasses. I love to use the eyeglasses for marking reading, blogging, when  my eyes are bothering me, and for eye doctor appointments. I didn’t have any New Years stickers and it’ll be here before we know it. The band stickers are to mark when my younger sister has performances and what not. All of these stickers are clear except for the metallic ones. Again these sheets were $1, regular $1.99 each.

Lastly were the larger sticker sheets. Again, I can never have enough football stickers. I’ve done quite a bit of football planner spreads, one recently was Steeler themed, so I’ll be using that sticker sheet some other time. As for the other two sheets, they’ll be great to cover up the calendar or to use as a spread alone with the washi I purchased.

  1. That’s quite the haul! I recently found out there’s a Hobby Lobby not too far from me (usually I just stick to Michael’s because they’re everywhere) and I’m itching to check it out. Maybe after my next paycheck. 😉
