Welcome to another post here on the blog. I’ve been wanting to share my Summer 16 favorites with you all so why not when it’s actually starting to feel like fall.
As always be sure to click the links throughout this post for related posts and links to purchase items/similar styles featured.
While I didn’t have a lot of favorites this Summer, I’ve divided my favorites into 3 sections: fashion, YouTube, and music. I mean, it really wouldn’t be a favorites list here on Chaotic Critic without some music. Let’s start with fashion.
I shared a collective haul from my vacation and I bought some pieces that would not only transition well into fall that work all year round. I’ve been loving my boyfriend/ripped jeans, baseball caps, and flannels.
My caps have become a staple not just to make an outfit casual, but for running errands, bad hair days, and just because I like them. I love ripped/boyfriend jeans and I have 2 pair that will work well with anything I pair them with. Lastly, flannels have been on my radar for quite some time and I can’t wait to add more to my collection. I’m on the hunt for a black and white one this season for sure. Cheers to a future thrift haul.
Next up let’s move on to YouTube. There’s so many new YouTubers that I’ve discovered and some that I haven’t been able to stop watching. I really love TheLetteredClassroom as she shows. My inner childhood dream of being a teacher is in her Harry Potter themed classroom. I love watching ShesInHerApron which is a combo of blogs, tips, DIYs. I stumbled across her channel and I’ve been watching it ever since. DenkOps was recommended to me by my boyfriend. He’s a gamer and his commentary is absolutely hilarious. Gaming isn;’t something I’m usually into, but his videos are an exception. Links to all channels on current radar are below:

- ShellysHomeLife (vlogger)
- NikkiPlus3 (planner)

- Tina Bietler (teacher)

Lastly, let’s move on to music. i’ll keep this section pretty short because there’s not much that I’m really into. I didn’t listen to Life of Pablo when it was released, but hey, blame it on the radio. Plus, Ariana Grande made my list, and how could you not have Coldplay. ‘Hymn for the Weekend’ featuring Beyoncè plus Kanye’s ‘Famous’ are at the top of my favorite list for sure. I’ve updated my Spotify Hello 2016 list with my Summer favs and removed a few that I’m just not into anymore. Listen to the full playlist below.
