Welcome to another Plan As I Go here on the blog. For those unfamiliar with the plan as I go style, or planning at all, the plan as I go style is me pulling out a camera every day and filming my planning. This time around I decided to go with a breakfast theme using sticky nots I found at Five Below.

I was really excited when I found the eggs and bacon sticky note set plus the donut at Five Below for just $1. I knew that my spread would be centered around it, especially the bacon strips. This spread was a lot of fun to put together. I was going to go for an all out food theme, but I pulled stickers from a Darice sticker book to add here and there. It turned out being a breakfast picnic theme.
For my sidebar, I used the egg sticky note to cover the calendar. I then took the washi that I used throughout the spread and made headers for my homework, blog, and to do sections. I didn’t have any ombre heart checklists to use for my sidebar this week so I just made my own bullet points.
Moving on to the week, I loved using the bacon strips.I primarily used them to mark off my homework assignments. I spent quite a bit of time on my work that week, so it worked out great using them to mark chunks of time. I used the same washi throughout the entire week. I don’t typically use washi on every single day as headers, but this week it worked.I used the same washi on the bottom.
Planner Tip: If you’re using a Happy Planner and want to cover the quote or design on the bottom, use computer paper. Measure it to the bottom, but it, and layer your washi on top. Quick fix and it doesn’t bulk up your planner.
I used the donut sticky note to mark the NJ Planner Meetup that I went to on the 13th. It was a lot of fun and I share my a kit from the swag bag in my next planner spread (stay tuned!) On that Saturday I also ended up seeing Sausage Party with my best friend. That’s a movie that could’ve been saved for TV or Netflix, but I spent money on it anyway.
Aside from using the bacon to mark off chunks of time, I used the thin washi as well. I had a sister day on Thursday and I used it to mark off a chunk of time and I then wrote in what we did. I also finally used the princesses I received in a sampler from a Stickeriffic sampler.
Planner Tip: If you don’t have a lot going on, use washi or a full box to mark a large chunk of time. You can also layer stickers as well on top as well.
