May Favorites | NCIS, Music, & YouTube

So long May. It’s crazy that we are halfway through June and Summer Sixteen is right around the corner. As usual, I wanted to share my monthly favorites. This month I have a TV favorite, a couple YouTubers, and of course music. Let’s get into it. As always, be sure to click the highlights links throughout the post.

WARNING: This content contains spoilers. If you have not watched NCIS and plan on watching (all seasons on Netflix), skip this part now. I repeat, skip this part NOW!

Anywho, Tony Dinozzo is officially done with NCIS. I never thought I’d get as wrapped up in the show as I am. Law & Order was always my favorite, then I binge watched CSI:NY, Criminal Minds, and Hawaii Five-0 on Netflix. Still, none of them compared to my obsession with NCIS. Just as I had pushed through all 12 seasons on Netflix while simultaneously keeping up with Season 13 on CBS, Michael Weatherly (Dinozzo) announced his departure.

His final episode, the end of the trilogy, was so heartbreaking. There was no official Ziva reunion (SPOILER: SHE DIES), but Tony departs as a DAD. Yes ‘TIVA’ lives on with baby Tali. McGee fell into his new role as second in command to Gibbs, plus a new team.

The kicker of the whole episode would definitely have to be the goodbye between Gibbs and Tony. I could watch the episode again and again.

I always have a new YouTuber that I’ve started watching whether it’s a planner girl or a vlogger. This month I have two YouTubers that I’ve been obsessed with:

I love Amber’s vlogs and I love discovering new vloggers. The gem of the month would definitely be fining RubyTrev’s ‘Plan As I Go’ series. I haven’t seen a planner plan with her style and I’ve watched basically all of her planning videos. Check out her ‘Plan As I Go’ playlist below.

At first I just had two songs to add to my Spotify ‘Hello 2016’ playlist, but by the end of the month I had a pretty decent list. Below are my favs for the month:

  • Meghan Trainor, ‘Me Too’
  • P!nk, ‘Just Like Fire’
  • Beyonce, ‘Sorry’
  • Sia / Sean Paul, ‘Cheap Thrills’
  • Drake, ‘One Dance’
  • Calvin Harris / Rihanna, ‘This Is What You Came For’
