Sneaker Wishlist

If there’s anything I’d like to add to my wardrobe it’s definitely sneakers. I’m not a sneaker head and I don’t plan to become one. There are sneakers that I’d like to add to my wardrobe that would not only get a lot of use, but are not too crazy in the price range. Be sire to click the links highlighted to purchase.

1. Adidas Original Superstar
I have a friend who bought a pair to wear at her 25th and I haven’t had a pair of Adidas since I was in middle school. As fashion evolves and trends repeat themselves, adidas are definitely a classic. There’s so much I can style with these shoes, but I love that they are able to make a dressy look casual yet sophisticated at the same time. Price – $79.99 (depending on store)

2. Vans Sk-8 Hi Mocassin
I featured these in a recent fashion lookbook, but I first saw then on YouTuber, Alyssa Forever. Her style is super dope and there’s just something about these shoes. They’re not the traditional Vans, although I did have the black & red checkered pair back in high school. With a size 10 shoe size, I barely wore them. Bring that I have a larger foot, high-top shoes work well and while these come in a few different colors, I love the clean look of the grey. Price: $80

3. Converse Trainers Low-Top
I have a pair of high-top converse in grey and I find myself rolling the down when wearing them. I’m not a huge fan of low-top converse because they look like boat shoes on my feet, but I’d love a classic pair of low-top trainers in white. I see one of my favorite YouTubers, Kayla Lashae, style them a lot and I’d love to incorporate them into my wardrobe. They’d be great with just about any outfit, but I’d love to do a pair of ripped jeans with a crisp white tee.  Price: $50

4. Rihanna x Puma Fenty Trainers
I was not a fan of Rihanna’s first shoe, Fenty Creepers with Puma, but it something about these Fenty Trainers that I love. First off I love the name of the design, her middle name Fenty. Getting back to the design, what I love most is the high tongue of the shoe. It comes in black, white, and red and I’d be happy with whatever color I could get my hands on. I would style this with shorts or a shirt dress. Price: $180+ (depending on site)

5. Nike Free 5.0 Mesh
I want to get back to running and I’m obsessed with the style. I have a black pair, but I really want a neon pair. I would love a neon yellow pair, but orange would due. Any neon pair would work. I love the feel of them and after running in them I definitely want another pair. They’d be great to style day to day, but these are specifically for running. Price: $100 (price could be cheaper depending on color style)
