I’ve been really good at not buying anything for my planner simply because I have accumulated quite a bit of stuff. I will say that Target has expanded their dollar spot and I feel a lot that not only has to do with the name change, but with the planner trend in general. Target always had stationery available for just a buck, but now it’s on trend stationery that works for the planner nerd with any budget.
The Target page flags are some of my absolute favorites to use in my spread. The new ones feature cute sayings in universal colors that will work great for a planner on any level. I’ve created two spreads thus far using the page flags. Check them out below:
I haven’t made an Etsy purchase in quite some time, but I’ve made yet another order from one of my favorite shops, FabulouslyPlanned. I love the quality and I love that she’s switched her sheet sizes from a full size (8.5 x 11) to a half sheet. It makes it easier to store. Check out my sticker organization HERE. Instead of purchasing a weekly kit I preordered her January mystery kit. It was $15 and included 8 sheets.
What I love about mystery kits opposed to monthly kits that you can find on Etsy is that the designs can vary. Some people might not like the fact of not knowing what they’re getting. The monthly kits usually are designed to match the Erin Condren Life Planners and since I use the Happy Planner, that doesn’t work for me. I could make the kit work, but with various weekly kits and with a monthly kit you could play around with it more than just sticking to one color.
This kit had a feathers theme along with some tribal prints. I’m glad that there was a mixture between the two because I will be able to maximize this kit and have two different spreads. I plan to use both in February. There’s 8 full check boxes which is great because you could do a complete row across and have one on the side. There’s cute sayings plus mini lists. The possibilities are endless with this kit because so much can be done with it. I can’t wait to share my spreads with you guys.
A lot of the weekly kits range anywhere from $15 and up. One of the pricier ones I saw was $25, but the paper quality is more and likely top notch along with there being nearly 10 sheets. The FabulouslyPlanend kit is currently sold out, but be sure to check out her kit for next month. Close up pictures are below.
