Sound OFF: Kim Kardashian Hate

Warning: This sound off might be all over the place. Just rock with me and keep reading.

So I will be the first to say that I am not the biggest fan of the Kardashian/Jenner family nor am I an avid watcher of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. I even talked about them in a previous post, Media War. That doesn’t mean I despise them all. In fact, I think they’re pretty dope. They capitalized on what could have been an incredibly¬†bad situation and turned it into an empire. Now I wouldn’t necessarily say that a sex tape is a bad situation, but it’s pretty embarrassing. Kim Kardashian is known for that and people continue to throw that in her face. Like she hasn’t done anything else in life. She’s just the girl in the sex tape with Brandy’s brother Ray J. She’s been called every name in the book, but credit must be given when due. She’s created quite the brand for her family and whether people want to acknowledge her existence or not, she’s the reason every one knows Kris, Kourtney, Khloe, Rob, Kendall, Kylie, etc. She’s the real reason. Most people tune in for her any way.

Now, what’s the reason for this sound off? Why are people so judgmental and ready to tear her and her family down? Is it jealousy that she’s married to a black man? Yes, I went there. Is it jealousy that black men are attracted to her? Yes, I went there again. Is it because she has a sex tape? Or is it because she’s a millionaire? Is it because of her voice? Granted, it can get annoying at times. Is it because it’s assumed everything about her is fake? Is it because she’s been married more than once? Maybe because she had a child before marriage? Is it because she’s simply more well off than yourself?

Whatever the personal vendetta may be, why does social media care so much? Why do people troll and create various accounts to comment about what the next person does with their life, their money, and their time? Kim Kardashian and her family are not the only ones subjected to the never ending opinions of others. Celebrities open up themselves to fans/haters only to be brought down and ridiculed for every little thing.

The real reason for this sound off is that it’s clear that Kim Kardashian is pregnant. Instead of letting her enjoy her moment and welcome in baby #2, of course there’s hate as to why she’s bigger one day versus the next. Why she’s smaller with this pregnancy than her last. Why she wears jackets and heels daily. It’s what she does! Why does everyone have to be Inspector Gadget and Carmen Sandiego via typing online. Damn, put all those investigative skills to the test and apply to a college or something. Put your nosiness to use. Here’s what she recently posted on her Instagram:

Kim Kardashian might not be my most favorite celebrity, but she damn sure doesn’t owe any blogger or troll any explanation to whether she’s pregnant or if she did have a surrogate. Again, why must people care so much? It’s her life, her body. Yes, she posted a picture of her naked showing off her belly bump. How many other celebs have done the same thing? Is it because Kim posted it online instead of posted up in a magazine. Wait, let’s go back to her “Break The Internet” shoot which received tons of hate along with her book “Selfish.”

When it comes to celebrities and their children I think that people need to back the hell off. Children never need to be brought into a situation. Let adults handle themselves. Is it right to bring her down. To taunt, to call her names. Of course not, but welcome to the world of social media. People of all ages, sizes, ethnicities, get bullied by the second. Celebrities are not excluded, why? BECAUSE THEY’RE HUMAN! Let this woman be. Clearly she’s unbothered. So why don’t you do the same and move the hell on with your life?

Did I spend a whole blog post on this? Yes, because it’s so annoying to read tweets or Instagram comments that are just so damn negative. Like, what happened in your life to make you so bitter? If you need help, go seek it. Don’t bring down someone else and what they’re doing in their lives to try and compensate for what you lack. That won’t make them loose any coins. In fact, the more negative attention you draw to them, just keeps them in the tabloids, keeps their name buzzing which equals more money. You’re doing them all the favors. So continue to hate, if you choose. Other than that, find a hobby.
