Fashion Forward Friday [V.13] — Styling Birkenstocks

There is no denying that history repeats itself and fashion does the same. I remember being 10 years old and having a pair of double strapped sandals and going to South of the Border with my grandparents and taking a candid shot. Now here it is 12 years later and that oh so familiar sandal is everywhere and the latest trend for Spring/Summer 2014.ย The shoe, commonly known as the Birkenstock is the most popular sandal of the season and can range anywhere from $89.95 – $130. The Birkenstock sandals come in a variety of styles, but I wanted to focus on the double strap, the Arizona, which is the most popular of all.
