Over the next few weeks I will be posting about my office as I begin to organize and restate the layout of it. This week I’m showing a DIY that I found on organizing office supplies from a YouTuber, thatGirlCathy.
Here’s what I used:
(5) – $1 tins from Target
$1 labels from Target
Here’s how I set it up. I took some string that I got from Home Depot. I eventually plan to get some S hooks and use them instead of the string. For now the string works.
The labels I wouldn’t really recommend because of how paper thin they are, but they work and 16 labels for $1 is a great deal. I divided them by Sharpies, Post-Its, Pens, Markers, Extras. I’m not sure if I will always keep it organized as such, but it works for the time being. These hooks were already on my door so I did not have to purchase them, but here are links to all the materials you would need to achieve this in your home.
Aside from office supplies this would be great storage for makeup such as brushes, mascaras, eye pencils, etc. You could also use this to store loose cords and separate them depending on how much electronics you have. This system would also work for a crafter/designer to organize all different types of utensils. There’s a lot you could do with this. For now, I’ll stick to the office organization.
