Motivational Monday | Enjoy the Ride

My church has added a new monthly service geared at millennials. The purpose of the service is to simply bring back those that may have strayed away from regularly attending church, like myself, with an engaging service. After attending the first service, which was amazing, I wanted to share the topic of that night, “Enjoy the ride.”

Multiple Planner Set Up

Hi my name is Lakia and I use more than one planner. Do I need to use more than one planner? Of course not. Why not consolidate everything into one location. Well, maybe next year I will. I went through 2015 and 2016 with one planner and I and a notebook for all of my blog ideas. In this post I’ll be sharing  I now have three planners that I use on a regular.

Maybe it has to do with wanting to have a full closet or maybe just to justify that particular purchase. In this post I share my yearly closet declutter, products I regret buying, and cheap organization.

Chaotic Visions | Effie’s Paper

Welcome to another edition of Chaotic Visions. In this series I’ll be showcasing amazing female entrepreneurs, their brands, and their roads to success.

This edition features stationery extraordinaire Kalyn Chandler, founder and owner of Effie’s Paper. As a stationery lover I just had to share her brand, but what’s interesting about her journey is continuing to elevate and capitalize in a market some may deem obsolete.

Michaels Haul + Building my Craft Stash

I’ve been pretty good about not buying any crafty items these past couple of months and trying to use what I have. This week at Michaels they were offering their 60% off coupon on regular price stickers, washi tape, and embellishments by Recollections. The location I went to didn’t have anything that I wanted, so I decided to stock up with their scrapbook paper deals instead.

Motivational Monday | Fear to Speak

I was sucked into the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy this past Thursday. While I’m not completely in tune with the show I have a gist of it plus the characters. This episode in particular features Jackson Avery, played by Jesse Williams, as he travelled to do a surgery on a girl and in the midst he met his long lost father for the first time. While I found the episode entertaining and engaging, it’s what he said at the end that really stuck.
