Cheers to another post here on the blog. Throughout my Motivational Monday series I usually share some type of story from my personal experiences in hopes of helping someone else. Personal Planner Setup

I have been a part of the planner community for two years now and I feel that as I am evolving as a person, my planner needs are as well. I love my Happy Planner due the flexibility and the discbound system. I like being able to have in as much or as little as I want at anytime and add to it as I please. In adding a new planner to my rotation, one thing that I needed was the flexibility to do just that, which is why I decided on a binder style planner.

Memory Planning in My Happy Planner

I have a bin full of memories that I’ve accumulated over the years. Some I have from important events in my life such as prom, High School graduation, and my college graduation. I love to save cards, tickets, pictures, and other odds and ends. As I am purging my oversized memory box, my goal is to consolidate what I plan on keeping into one central location. I could create a scrapbook, but I wanted something more flexible which is why I decided to go with the Me & My Big Ideas BIG Happy Planner.

Motivational Monday | Change Is Good!

These past few weeks , no this past year has been filled with major changes and adjustments.  I left one job that for another and now I’m on to another one. From leaving one job to starting a new one. I have had to make changes in a shorter amount of time than I usually would, but it’s necessary. I have always preferred comfort over change. I won’t say that I despise change, but if I could keep things my way, why not?

Wellness Wednesday | Meal Prep

Meal prepping is something that I began doing for one of two reasons. For one, it was getting entirely too expensive to eat out every day plus I am trying to monitor what I am eating. I watch YouTube videos every now and then of ‘What I Eat in a Day’ and bloggers that meal prep. I draw inspiration from those types of videos, but ultimately it’s a trial and error.

Life After College | 4 Years Later

May 23, 2013 I graduated from undergrad with a B.A. in English Communications – Broadcast Journalism. As for what my degree entailed, I studied English literature and radio/TV production for four years. I started in 2009 and finished in 2013 which was an accomplishment in itself as not many people in the program finished in 4 years. I didn’t take summer classes and my semesters were jam packed, but I finished. After graduation, it was just that, a graduation. No career like some of my other friends. No full-time job with benefits. I was still working at a daycare making minimum wage. In fact, I had just had surgery two weeks prior and hadn’t worked the entire month of May plus I wrapped up an internship with Billboard. Receiving my degree made all the twists and turns of my last academic year worth it. Here I am 4 years later where I can happily reflect on that time in my life as I make a stride in my career.  Continue reading “Life After College | 4 Years Later”
